OUR HISTORY
MARO was founded in 1978 by Manuel Rodriguez, at that time located in the city of Caseros, Greater Buenos Aires. Its main products were small and medium-sized stamped parts, welded subassemblies, components and seat frames.
In 1995, MARO added Toyota Argentina as a customer, continuously supplying parts for the successful Hilux model since the first produced unit in 1997.
By 2008, MARO's operations occupied more than one plant and that is why the strategic decision was made to move to the city of Baradero, in order to unify them in the same premises and improve operating costs. In 2010, MARO also incorporated the cataphoresis and powder painting processes, adding Volkswagen Argentina as a new customer. The success of the strategy is such that, in 2011, MARO received from Toyota Argentina the award for best supplier of the year; it added Daimler Argentina, Volvo Trucks and more recently Honda Argentina as new customers, thus continuing its path of sustained growth.
