OUR HISTORY

MARO was established in the year 1978 by Manuel Rodriguez in Caseros City, Buenos Aires. The company's main products were small and medium stamped parts, welded assemblies, seat structures and components.

In 1995, MARO added Toyota Argentina as a customer, continuously supplying parts for the successful Hilux model since the first produced unit in 1997.

By the year 2008 MARO's operations encompassed several production sites and this significant growth led to the strategic decision of moving the company to Baradero in order to unify the production sites and improve operation costs. In the year 2010, MARO added the E-coat and powder coating processes, achieving the incorporation of Volkswagen Argentina as a new customer. The success of this strategy was such that in the year 2011, MARO was awarded as Best Performance Supplier by Toyota Argentina; added new customers such as Daimler Argentina, Volvo Trucks and most recently Honda Argentina, continuing to move forward on the path of sustained growth.
